Information About the LEED Certification Process

According to the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), LEED certification allows independent, third-party verification that a building project must meet for the highest green building and performance measures. The types of buildings that can be LEED certified in California include, but are not limited to business offices, retail shops, service establishments, institutional buildings, hotels and residential buildings that have four or more habitable stories.
